Sandy Sohcot has just completed her 2nd annual teen Rite of Passage in the San Leandro, CA, REACH youth facility – The World as it Could Be is Within REACH. They’re celebrating their graduation Friday, May 20. Go if you can! You will be inspired by youth on mission and on fire. Their year-long Rite of Passage process uses the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) to encourage young people to see their struggles in a broad, international human rights context. It’s a beautiful process with great results. But don’t believe me. Check it out yourself in this short film we produced for them last year. And if you want to learn more about the UDHR check out the film I co-produced and edited about it here.
