On May 22 we won a Best Documentary Award at the San Diego G.I. Film Festival for On Black Mountain. It was our fourth “Best Doc” award in four months and the 10th for our Veterans series overall! When I accepted the award and told them what our social change plans were they gave me a standing ovation! You can wait to see the film on PBS or buy it here.

Looking for something funny? Good, because I’m looking for you – advance readers for my 3rd book. It’s my first humor book, designed first, foremost, and last to make people laugh. Though it’s not my first foray into stand-up comedy (that happened way back in college) it might be my first foray into sit-down comedy. Working title? Turds of Meaning: Funny, real-life stories from an unrepentant rebel Buddhist.
