I want to invite you to check out the audiobook version of Rites to a Good Life: Everyday Rituals of Healing and Transformation.

The printed book is one thing.  But I tried to make the audio book a separate work of art.  Think of it as an Audio Documentary. The interweaving of my narration with the voices of 20 outstanding co-speakers makes for a unique audio experience, kind of like a podcast. Along with Jack Kornfield’s preface, you’ll hear excerpts from over 20 years of filmed interviews I have with some of the stellar names in the field of human transformation: Robert Bly, Michael Meade, Angeles Arrien, Meredith Little, Orland Bishop, Starhawk, Aqeela Sherrills, Bill Plotkin, Chike Nwoffiah, and many more.  I promise you a very rich experience.

And please join me for public, in-person readings with Rites to a Good Life at Beastly Books in Santa Fe, NM, at 5pm on Nov. 11 and 12.

And while you’re there, please join us those same days at the Cocteau Cinema right next door for the first ever world premiere showcasing of all five Veterans Journey Home films. You can find event information below and get advance tickets here!

In September’s Warrior Gathering: Afghanistan Edition, we screened our brand new 15-minute film Veterans Journey Home: Solutions and pondered lives lost and changed by war.

A heartfelt thank you to our host Retired Army Captain DJ Skelton, expert Veterans’ facilitator Patricia Clason (Healing Warrior Hearts), and the mental health professionals, Veterans and civilians who shared stories and wisdom from the journey.
